After experiencing two of my own births that didn't go as planned and were quite traumatic, I wanted to create a collection of comprehensive pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal programs that would help mums properly prepare both physically and mentally for labour. These programs are designed to help you have a healthy pregnancy, thoroughly prepare for your labour, and recover, heal, and get back in shape after the birth of your baby.

Hi, I’m Melanie, and I'm on a mission to empower expecting mums like you on your incredible journey to childbirth. With a passion for natural, physiological birth, I specialize in coaching women to navigate medical interventions during childbirth or a c-section, while increasing the likelihood of you having a natural birth if that’s what you desire.

My courses and coaching go beyond the surface and instead we go thoroughly into the physical and mental aspects of pregnancy and labour. I believe in the power of preparation. By helping you prepare your body, we ensure that your pelvis is not just strong, but also flexible and ready to open up wider during childbirth. Through safe pregnancy exercises and active birth preparation, I guide you in aligning and balancing your muscles, setting the stage for a more natural birth experience.

But it’s not just about the physical; we also work at preparing your mind. Together, we tackle the fear-tension-pain cycle, you'll learn techniques to breathe through your contractions and how to draw on your newfound mental strength and resilience during labour. My goal is to instil confidence, so that you trust your body and baby to set the pace during your labour.

I specialize in fertility and pregnancy nutrition, as well as post-natal fat loss and body recomposition. Proper nutrition is vital whether you are attempting to conceive, already pregnant, or in the process of recovering, healing, and getting back in shape after giving birth. A balanced diet ensures the health of your eggs, supports your baby's development, and maintains your overall well-being. I have previously worked in the field of sports nutrition, creating diets for female bodybuilding competitors to help them build muscle and subsequently lose body fat for competitions.

I specialize in general exercise (cardio and strength training programs), pregnancy exercise, Pilates and yoga for pregnancy, active birth preparation, exercise for birth, and post-natal recovery. Regular exercise during pregnancy is crucial to prepare your body for labour and an active birthing process. After pregnancy, the right exercises can help you tone your body and lose body fat. Previously, I specialized in creating sports training programs (weights and cardio) for female bodybuilders, as well as working with clients focused on fat loss and body transformation.
